Andrew Cagen

Attorney Andrew Cagen is a practicing lawyer in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston.


Andy specializes in consumer and small-business matters and has a strong interest in the needs of first-time homeowners. 

In 1989 was the lone private-partner recipient of the Partners in Housing Award given by the Rhode Island Housing & Mortgage Finance Corporation in recognition of his service to low-income homebuyers and people facing housing insecurity. He currently is focusing on the need for affordable housing, particularly in the Mount Hope neighborhood of Providence.


Andy has been instrumental in working to solve the issue of  hunger and food insecurity in Rhode Island as well as in Jamaica. He has traveled to the island and has volunteered his time and efforts to assist children in the Eleven Miles Bull Bay Summer Enrichment Program. This program serves over 350 children annually. Andy also assists with the annual Wanskuck Library Holiday Gift Giving, ensuring that children living in the Wanskuck, Elmhurst and Charles areas of Providence have gifts during the festive season.


Andy is the proud father of three adult children and spends his spare time walking on Blackstone Boulevard and biking at the YMCA.
