Global Fund to end Childhood Hunger and Poverty

What We Do

Educational Initiatives

Education is still the great equalizer, and every child has the right to learn. Due to wars, natural disasters, and poverty, many children have experienced learning loss or have not been educated at all. COVID-19 has exacerbated the hardship for all children, especially those in the deep rural and core urban areas.

Without education, poor children will be unable to break generational hunger and poverty cycles. In an effort to break these traumatic cycles and put kids on a pathway to success, our organization provides children with back-to-school supplies, backpacks, fiction, and nonfiction books, writing utensils, and Chromebooks.

Nutrition- What is Food Insecurity?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Food insecurity, defined by the US Department of Agriculture as having inconsistent access to adequate food because of limited financial and other resources, affects nearly 1 in 6 US households

We believe that food is a basic human right and that every child is entitled to food that is free, healthy, nutritious, and accessible. Our organization partners with organizations and individuals to replenish school food pantries and provide emergency groceries to children and their families.

Hygiene

Far too often, kids do not attend school because of the lack of sanitary or hygiene products. Our organization is working to ensure children have available and accessible personal necessities.
